Today, NMotion announces their most recent hire, Keevin O’Rourke, as the new Program Manager.

“Keevin is an entrepreneur and startup enthusiast that graduated from the Iowa Startup Accelerator,” Beth McKeon, NMotion Managing Director, said. “He has a wealth of experience in startup community building, as well as early stage startup development, that will be invaluable to our portfolio companies and to the Lincoln startup community.”

Keevin moved to Lincoln from Cedar Rapids, IA, where he founded Streamweaver, a startup that connects professional video gamers with brands for sponsorships and endorsement opportunities. During that time, he gained experience selling to Fortune 500 companies and global brands.

“Over the summer, I visited Lincoln to pitch my business to community members. When I witnessed and experienced the enthusiasm within the startup community I realized big things are happening in Lincoln.” Keevin said, “I am very excited to play a part in building and growing the entrepreneurial ecosystem here.”

Keevin is most excited about helping founders and developing new programs for entrepreneurs.

“Having participated in an accelerator program similar to NMotion, I have a unique perspective that will allow me to better serve the entrepreneurs in our community. I have faced many of the challenges that new founders will face, whether that’s validating the market, building their first MVP, or attracting investors to their startup. My goal is to leverage what I have learned and pass that along to the founders that need help,” Keevin said.

In addition to being a founder, Keevin has also played a crucial role in developing startup communities in Iowa. He was a 1 Million Cups organizer for two years and has served as a Startup Weekend organizer, mentor, and facilitator in four states.

“With Keevin joining the team, NMotion is led by a team of experienced entrepreneurs who know what founders need to be successful. We’re thrilled to bring Keevin to our community, injecting new talent into our ecosystem,” Christina Oldfather, Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at LPED, said.
